Production Supervisor (Can Corporation of America, Inc., Blandon, PA): Responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Facility; Ensures that all safety, production, and quality standards are met while achieving on-time delivery commitments to customers; Adheres to and enforces the established safety and product safety policies and procedures; Ensures safety and housekeeping is maintained and validates that the associated inspections are performed; Reads and analyzes production schedules to determine production requirements and evaluates current production estimates and outputs; Applies knowledge of machine functionality to reorganize production schedule to improve machine efficiencies as needed; Implements and establishes work procedures, processes and standards that support company and departmental goals and objectives; Trains and directs operators as required on machine set-up and operation procedures; Continuously inspects materials, products and equipment for defects/malfunctions and coordinates the proper resources to address the issues. In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Experience with operating and/or maintaining manufacturing machinery, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including ability to coach, train, and motivate others. Requires an Associate’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field and at least three (3) years of experience as an Operations Technician/Technologist or related manufacturing occupation.
