The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to drive productivity and efficiency through teamwork and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Production & OperationsOversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals, deadlines, and quality standards.Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing and workflow as needed.Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Coordinate with departments such as Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupervise, train, and motivate production staff across multiple shifts.Lead daily shift meetings to review performance, safety topics, and production goals.Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members.Safety & ComplianceEnsure all employees follow company safety rules and wear proper PPE.Conduct safety audits and work proactively to correct potential hazards.Support and encourage a culture of workplace safety and organization (5S).Quality & EfficiencyCollaborate with Quality Control to maintain high product standards.Identify and address process issues to minimize downtime and defects.Track and report key production metrics including output, scrap, and downtime.Qualifications:3+ years of production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and quality standards.Proven leadership ability to guide and motivate a team.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma preferred.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.Why Work With PeopleShare?Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career potentialWeekly pay and benefits while on assignmentDedicated recruiter support throughout your placementOpportunity to join a respected local manufacturer upon hireReady to step into a leadership role in manufacturing?
