People like you!Job DescriptionProduction Supervisor*This is a Safety Sensitive position. *Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing themanufacture ofIKO roofing shingles whilemaintaining high standards for safety and quality. Insurance (includes teledoc virtual health FSA HCSA & other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceHealth Spending AccountEmployee Support and Mental WellnessShort-term disability401k MatchPaid vacation.Floating daysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement EventsAwards and RecognitionTuition ReimbursementService AwardsEmployee Perks & DiscountsJob ResponsibilitiesProvide strong manufacturing leadership to engage employees and drive a productive work environment.Promote a proactive safety culture; investigate near-misses injuries and hazards and prepare reports.Ensure compliance with Company and OSHA standards; conduct safety inspections and support safety programs.Deliver training cross-training and employee development for safety quality and production procedures.Lead regular crew meetings to communicate updates on safety quality production and plant performance.Collaborate with Supervisors to achieve plant SQDCP performance metrics.Recommend and implement improvements to production methods equipment performance and product quality.Partner with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues eliminate root causes and sustain corrective actions.Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching to enhance skills.Manage production scheduling time and attendance in Workday and prepare shift reports.Job QualificationsHigh-speed manufacturing experience preferred.Supervisory experience of 3-5 yearsStrong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.Excellent communication (written verbal presentation and listening) and analytical skillsProven track record of operational improvement through employee engagement.Excellent time management planning and organizational skills.Proficient in MS Office preferred.#LI-RA1Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
