Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONProduction Team LeadFLSA Status: Non-Exempt Dept: Production On-Site: YesDate: 03.2025 Reports to: Sr. Operations Mgr Direct Reports: YesSUMMARYThe Production Supervisor will monitor our production operations and ensure that they deliver maximum quality in a profitable manner. Your duties will include monitoring employees, organizing workflows and analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes. You should be highly competent and comprehend complex operations. We also expect you to be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:High school diploma or GEDLean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) certification a plusEXPERIENCE: At least three (3) years leading teams in a production/operations environmentExperience leading Kaizen or other similar improvement eventsExperience with electronics manufacturing and testing is a plusKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous mannerAnalytical and problem-solving skills: ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution with great attention to detailSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize time effectively and work with little supervisionAbility to create, improve and adhere to production processesEligibility Requirements:Only U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible to apply for this position. SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIESEstablish daily, weekly, and monthly targets and communicate them to employees and managementManage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedulesOrganize, monitor and prioritize orders to meet production goalsReport status to management during daily GembaDetect bottlenecks and inefficiencies and suggest/lead improvementsGuide and coach team members while monitoring productivityFoster communication between employees and Management/HR to ensure policies are well understood and practicedAssist in the recruitment and onboarding of new hiresParticipate in training and development sessions to improve skillsWork with Maintenance to ensure all equipment is running optimally and is properly maintainedMaintain a professional work ethic, clean and standardized work area (5S), and safe work practicesWork overtime as requiredPerforms other related duties, as required.
