Its unique agile engineering approach enables rapid prototyping while deep partnerships with defense and industry ensure real-world solutions.Role Overview:We are seeking a Production Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Los this role they will be responsible for developing refining and executing system and subsystem-level test artifacts to ensure compliance to integrated hardware and software Technical Data Package (TDP) addition they will be expected to work collaboratively across the Manufacturing team the Hardware and Software R&D teams and the Systems Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and analyzing complex system requirements experience working in both R&D prototyping and high-rate production environments experience with RF systems and experience with scripting/automation of COTS test equipment and eSTEs.Responsibilities:Understand performance requirements of complex systems ideally Radar and RF systems and provide technical support for developing and executing system and subsystem-level tests to verify and validate those requirementsExperience trending and troubleshooting RF systemsExperience with IPv4 networking including proficiency in subnetting network masks routing principles and network tools (e.g. Wireshark Netstat Socat) for effective configuration and troubleshootingExperience with use and automation of commercial test equipment (e.g. DMM Oscilloscope Signal Generator Spectrum Analyzer Logic AnalyzerProvide technical support to the entire product life cycle development activities including requirements development and analysis system validation and verification hardware/software test system level integration interface definition test planning and test executionAnalyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support customer requirementsDevelop/execute test plans verification and or acceptance test procedures development of scripts (preferably Python) as well as utilization/configuration of COTS tooling and Electrical Special Test Equipment (eSTE) to verify system requirements and prove system complianceSupport the development and improvement of operations processes / products / training materials the investigation and diagnosis of unexpected system signatures and the coordination and implementation of system maintenance tasksProvide Test Equipment (TE) integration troubleshooting sustainment and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systemsSupport field deployments as required to assist Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team with system operation and root cause corrective action (RCCA) implementationMinimum Requirements:Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experienceU.S. citizenshipHave familiarity in sub system or systems architecting and system-of-systems definitionExperience developing training courses and training othersExperience generating of test scripts to automate integrationExperience developing system level designs high level control and data interfacesExperience with Linux-based operating systemsExperience with scripting languages such as C Matlab Python or Bash (Python preferred)Experience within a manufacturing environment ideally high-rateExperience leading multi-disciplined teams or projectsInnovative mindset that drives continuous improvement lean manufacturing and keeps pace with advances in technologyExperience with technical writing and problem solvingDemonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplinesPreferred Requirements:The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearanceExperience developing and maintaining operational procedures products and training materials.
