JOB DESCRIPTION

Production Worker

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our production team. The role involves operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring the quality of the final product. You will play a key role in maintaining our production efficiency and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to operating procedures and instructions.
  • Load material into machines and pull finished products off the machine.
  • Stack finished products on pallets and prepare them for forklift transport.
  • Wrap pallets and prepare the forklift to grab them.
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work station while following the shop's 5S system.
  • Accurately record labor and material usage in the ERP system.
  • Work with fiberglass/insulation materials with provided PPE.
  • Lift up to 50lbs as required.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Machine operation.
  • Ability to perform general labor tasks.
  • Experience with packaging, assembly, inspection, and packing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with fiberglass or insulation.
  • Autobody Experience

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4pm. Overtime is available on Fridays, mostly voluntary, but mandatory if needed, with a 6-hour shift. Employees enjoy two 10-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute paid break, without the need to clock out. The environment is safe and friendly, with all necessary PPE provided for working with fiberglass and insulation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fitchburg, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
