Production Worker

Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of quality electronic equipment. You will have the opportunity to work across various areas, such as assembly, SMT, and material movement, gaining proficiency in multiple tasks within your assigned functional area.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate or assemble electronic equipment according to written work instructions.
• Adapt to multiple work areas daily based on established patterns.
• Deliver materials to point of consumption in response to Kanban signals.
• Accurately perform inventory transactions.
• Actively participate in daily Tier 1 daily management system (DMS) meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with small parts and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret English and use computers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 0 1 years of related work experience.
• Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Familiarity with computers and Windows operating systems.
• Skills in soldering, wiring, and handling PCB components are advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing environment with a brand new facility set up like a football field. Start with raw materials at one end-zone, continue through SMT and AOI machines, move into the assembly/hand add area, and finish in the packaging/shipping department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.55/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
