You will lead and mentor a team of managers with employees performing a variety of quality functions.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulationsDevelops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performanceProvides education and coaching on the Quality SystemMay make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agenciesAcquires and manages resources and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reportsData analytical skills with Tableau or other business intelligence softwareManages develops and motivates employeesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives customers stakeholders peers and business partners3 years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams initiatives or projects to meet business objectives and influence change3 years of management experience with Quality or Operations or leading managers / teams in Operations and/or Quality position 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)1 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsWilling to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime (primarily 3rd shift)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in Material Review Board processesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience with the One Boeing Production System (BPS)Proven ability to manage develop and motivate employeesExperience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized mannerSelf-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and proceduresStrong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability Communication Continuous Improvement Customer Focus Managing Conflict Building Positive RelationshipsDemonstrated skills in team building systematic problem solving and ethical leadershipDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This role is primarily third shift; however there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
