Job Title: Professional Development Trainer/Bootcamp Instructor, ASCENT - Panama City Campus (Multiple Positions) - (Part-time, OPS) Location: Panama City, FL Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 59887 Department ASCENT - Office of Professional Engagement and Learning (OPEL)Florida State University is one of the nation’s top 25 public universities and FSU Panama City amplifies the university’s efforts to preserve, expand and disseminate knowledge in the sciences, technology, arts, humanities, and human services professions. For more information about our on-campus housing, visit https://seminolelandingfsu.com/Responsibilities Providing classroom, online, or hybrid instruction in professional development and bootcamp formats. Fulfilling all contractual obligations during the term.Delivering training sessions aligned with pre-approved curricula and industry standards.Preparing thoroughly for each session and adhering to schedules.Leveraging modern teaching technologies, including learning management systems (LMS) and web-conferencing tools.Engaging learners actively, providing timely responses to questions and offering support or referrals when necessary.Collaborating with ASCENT staff to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality learner experiences.Assisting in the development and refinement of training content, as needed.Maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and evaluations, as applicable.Completing annual compliance training and adhering to university policies.Performing additional duties as assigned by the OPEL Program Manager.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.Relevant industry certifications, coupled with two or more years of field experience.
