Job Overview We are seeking a Licensed and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing accurate survey drawings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role requires proficiency in various surveying technologies and software, as well as a strong understanding of trigonometry and civil engineering principles. Responsibilities Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment including GPS, Robotic Total Stations and 3D scanners. Draft survey plans and maps using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. Analyze survey data to determine boundaries, topography, and land features. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met. Prepare detailed reports on survey findings and present them to clients or stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of all surveys conducted and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Utilize Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Carlson software for drafting and managing survey data effectively. Requirements Licensed to practice Land Surveying in South Carolina. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble Business Center, GPS technologies is essential. Strong understanding of trigonometry and its application in surveying tasks. Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in data collection and reporting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
