We seek employees who bring different and innovative ways of seeing the world and solving problems.The Program Assistant II assists department/Clinical Research Supervisor and/or Clinical Research Nurse in the implementation of program policies and procedures. Carries-out special assignments or projects in addition to performing administrative responsibilities.Program Assistant positions may vary widely in the specific responsibilities performed as much of the work is project-based and specific to the individual department or study.ResponsibilitiesScope of ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent works with some independence and is expected to use judgment in carrying-out duties within the framework of department/study policies and procedures and required to work on campus to support the work for this position.Essential TasksMay perform some or all of the following responsibilities:Track and courier research samples and products as necessary. 50%Ordering organizing and assembling research kits and delivering to appropriate labs. 20%Support specimen tracking in specimen management platform including initial set up of protocols. 10%Assists in the implementation of department/study policies and procedures. 5%Perform scheduling tasks and consenting for lab donors. 5%Maintain updated policies and procedures manuals. 5%Perform related duties as assigned. 5%QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school graduation or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.Organizational skillsGeneral office skills (i.e. typing filing phone skills)Word processing/computer skillsWritten and oral communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associates or Bachelors degreeThe hourly pay range for this position is from $25.72 to $36.62 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship at this time.Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health well-being and financial security.
