Job Title: Program Associate (Sunshine Genetics, College of Medicine) Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 61649 Department Sunshine Genetics | College of MedicineResponsibilities The Program Associate provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Senior Associate Director for Precision Medicine, the research team and faculty reporting directly to this position, and IPRD's Sunshine Genetics team. Working collaboratively with IPRD leadership and administrative staff, this position ensures efficient coordination of statewide research, education, and clinical initiatives.Maintain and coordinate calendars for the Sr. Associate Director, Sr. Associate Director’s research team, and the Sunshine Genetics team (currently three faculty, two staff members, with anticipated rapid growth). Schedule and organize meetings, including logistics for on-site and virtual events.Arrange and process domestic and international travel for the Sr. Associate Director, Sr. Associate Director’s research team, and Sunshine Genetics personnel, including flight booking, hotel accommodation, and transportation. Prepare itineraries and manage reimbursement documentation in compliance with FSU travel policies.Coordinate professional society memberships and conference registrations. Prepare and arrange shipment of promotional materials (booths at conferences, banners, flyers, pamphlets, and giveaways) for scientific conferences and public events.Oversee daily administrative operations for the Sr. Associate Director, Sr. Associate Director’s research team, and Sunshine Genetics program. Prepare and process procurement requests. Assist with preparation and tracking of reports, budgets, and compliance materials.Organize and support meetings, workshops, and conferences. Manage invitations, agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up communications.Serve as a primary point of contact for university offices, external partners, and collaborators. Facilitate timely and effective communication among internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience.
