Job Description
SUMMARYCoordinates the activities and functions of designated programs. Analyzes evaluates and ensures that the goals and objectives for the program are accomplished according to established priorities time and funding limitations or other specifications.The Program Coordinator for the Dropout Prevention Program is responsible for coordinating program initiatives and providing oversight and support to Dropout Prevention Specialists. This role serves as a vital liaison between schools and families ensuring consistent communication and aligned support services. The Program Coordinator must be familiar with ADE attendance codes and guidelines conduct home visits as needed and deliver monthly professional development to staff. Strong knowledge of Synergy and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are essential.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAssociates Degree ANDFour years of experience administering or coordinating programs.ORBachelors Degree ANDTwo years of experience administering or coordinating programs.ORSix years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.One year of supervisory experience.Knowledge and ability to use word processing database and spreadsheet programs.Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program.Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification.
