Such administrative and programmatic support involves considerable responsibility, complexity, and variety. This position reports to the Director of the Clinical Law Center in her role as Senior Fellow at the Center for Equitable Economy and Sustainable Society. The position is part-time and 100% funded by a grant to the Center for Equitable Economy and Sustainable Society. This is a part-time (20 hours/week) position.NATURE AND SCOPE:Internal contacts include administrators, faculty, staff and students in the University, including at the Law School. External contacts include government officials, grant makers and a myriad of institutions, agencies, and organizations.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Provide administrative and programmatic support for the Estate Planning & Heirs’ Property Clinic and the Clinical Law Center. This will include grant writing and reporting, event planning, programmatic support, administrative support and all other assigned duties, including attending the Estate Planning & Heirs’ Property course weekly. Additional responsibilities will include qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the Estate Planning & Heirs’ Property Clinic.CORE COMPETENCIES:Excellent computer skills; demonstrated competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, relevant case management software, and other software programs as needed.Demonstrated experience in performing administrative and program coordinator duties at a high level in a legal or higher education environment.Demonstrated experience with event planning and external communications.Demonstrated commitment to social justice, civil and human rights, and working with a diverse group of constituencies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated attention to detail.Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and deliver quality customer services.Ability to maintain effective and harmonious relations with faculty, staff, students, and external constituencies.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and two years of experience in an administrative or program coordinator capacity, is required.
