From leading fun activities to offering a listening ear and helping with daily routines youll be a trusted presence who helps young people learn grow and thrive every day.Position: Program CoordinatorGeneral Purpose:Under the supervision of the Club Leader the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and operating programming within a specific Club. Works directly with groups of up to 20 Members following the school day.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Implements daily challenges and learning activities on a daily basis.Executes targeted enrichment programs that support English Language Learners positive relationship building problem-solving and social-emotional development.Delivers programs and activities in the following five core areas: Academic Success The Arts Leadership & Service Sports and Health & Wellness.Establishes a strong relationship with school teachers.Fosters strong relationships with Members through:Role modeling and group management.Creating an environment that facilitates achievement.Maintaining enthusiasm and a positive attitude with youth and within the Club community.Conveying warmth care & proper guidance in ongoing interactions with Members.Consistent attendance to create stability for Club MembersMaintains a safe clean appealing environment and ensures Member safety through proper supervision.Utilizes trauma-informed behavior management tools to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all Members.Actively participates in daily and weekly Club communication with co-workers supervisors volunteers and parents in regard to Member behavior and achievementsEncourages Members to take responsibility for their good behavior and reinforces high behavior expectations at all times.Education and/or Expertise:4 ECE units preferredHigh School diploma (or higher)Age 21 or olderPrior experience working with Teens preferred.Computer & Equipment Skills:Microsoft Office preferredRequirementsRequirements:Mandatory negative TB test.Must pass Instructional Assistant Exam.Must provide own vehicle have a valid state drivers license and proof of auto insurance preferred.Applicants must be able to successfully perform the essential physical functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 30 lbs.Sufficient strength agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to supervise program activities.Salary Description$20.00-$20.50Required Experience:IC Key Skills Project / Program Management,Program Management,Developmental Disabilities Experience,Organizational skills,Data Collection,Meeting Facilitation,Utilization Review,Administrative Experience,Program Development,Public Speaking,Supervising Experience,Social Work Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 20 - 20
