Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, providing training, mentorship, and guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality services to under-resourced individuals, families, and communities.
- Ensure program services align with organizational vision, mission, and values.
- Provide operational leadership and oversight across program functions.
- Review and adhere to contractual scopes of work and compliance requirements.
- Develop program work plans and standard operating procedures in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Oversee Cal-AIM program staff including Managers, Data Analysts/Billers, Housing staff, and Day Habilitation staff.
- Engage executive leadership in program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage medical billing and data entry processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee case management, housing services, health needs assessments, care plan documentation, and related practices.
- Track program enrollments and service activities while ensuring billing data accuracy.
- Support and participate in audits, Quality Assurance reviews, and Utilization Reviews.
- Serve populations of focus, including individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, chronic health conditions, mental health and substance use challenges, justice involvement, and birth equity disparities.
- Assist in program budget planning, financial oversight, and compliance reporting.
- Ensure monthly program metrics are met and quarterly reports are accurate and timely.
- Represent the organization at Cal-AIM conferences, trainings, and statewide meetings.
- Build partnerships with local providers, funders, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and HIPAA Privacy Rules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in program management and team supervision.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of medical billing, data entry processes, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience developing and managing program budgets.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of experience in healthcare, case management, homeless services, or related fields serving vulnerable populations.
- Six (6) years of supervisory experience in homeless or related social services.
- Master’s Degree in a field eligible for licensure by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC preferred).
- Behavioral Sciences licensure preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).

- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift
- Location: Remote in California only
- Relocation: Preferred prior to start date
- Driver’s License: Required
