This position drives the development and implementation of the states CCBHC certification programdesigning policy creating certification criteria leading the pre-certification process and ensuring alignment with federal and state requirements. Youll work closely with OBH leadership Health Standards data teams and providers to build a consistent high-quality certification system that strengthens access to integrated behavioral health care statewide.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys policy development program design collaboration and making a meaningful impact on Louisianas behavioral health system.Minimum Qualifications Seven years of experience in developing managing or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health public relations social services health services health regulation or administrative services; ORSix years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in developing managing or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health public relations social services health services health regulation or administrative services; ORA bachelors degree plus four years of experience in developing managing or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health public relations social services health services health regulation or administrative services; ORAn advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in developing managing or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health public relations social services health services health regulation or administrative services.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.Job Specification The official job specifications for this role as defined by the State Civil Service can be found here.Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:Develops manages and implements all policy activities related to CCBHC certification which may be funded through CCBHC grant funding as well as other state and federal discretionary and non-discretionary federal grants.Develops implements and manages all aspects of the CCBHC pre-certification process. This is inclusive ofdevelopingandmaintainingstandardizedapplicationmaterialsinstructionsandevaluationrubrics.Oversee CCBHC certification related projects initiatives and workgroups to ensure timely completion of deliverables and compliance with established standards.Develops maintains and facilitates training for and technical assistance to CCBHCs behavioral health providersdepartmentalstaffofMedicaidmanagedcareentitiesandLDHOfficestaffutilizingmethodssuchas classroom training demonstrations meetings conferences presentations and workshops to strengthen competency and knowledge base associated with the CCBHC certification process and delivering quality behavioral health services within the state.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor the Deputy Assistant Secretary or Assistant Secretary which may include emergency preparedness and response.The ideal candidate should possess the following:Experience in project management including timeline development task tracking and cross-team coordination; the development and implementation of policies procedures workflows and documentation aligned with regulatory standards; and conducting readiness reviews and compliance monitoring.Position-Specific Details:Location: Office of Behavioral Health / Health Plan - Quality Management / East Baton Rouge ParishAppointment Type:This position may be filled as aJob appointment (temporary appointment that may last up to 48 months)Cost Center:Position Number(s):How To Apply:No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.To apply for this vacancy click on the Apply link above and complete an electronic application which can be used for this vacancy as well as future job opportunities.
