Classification Title:Program ManagerJob Description:The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida invites applications for the SB112 Program Manager with the newly formed UF Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (UF CAN).This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role on a multidisciplinary team for advancing statewide initiatives for clinical services education research and advocacy for neurodiverse individuals and their families. The successful candidate will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of grants authorized under Florida Senate Bill 112. Primary duties for this role include managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process evaluating proposals awarding grants and monitoring programmatic deliverables. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement program evaluation and coordination with regional hubs.About This Role:Grant Administration Oversee all fiscal aspects of subawards and contracts and responsible for compliance with UF Federal and State laws and regulations.Review all contracts subaward requests for proposals and provide all necessary information to appropriate UF Central offices to facilitate risk assessment and prior approvals.Develop and publish RFPs for eligible programs (e.g. summer programs charter schools micro-credential development)Coordinate peer review processes for proposal evaluationEnsure compliance with SB112 programmatic guidelinesEnsure effective management of financial administrative and contractual documents and maintain documentation of grant applications scoring and award decisionsProgram Monitoring Monitor progress toward and timely completion of contract/award deliverables and outcomes.Review subaward financial reports and ensure that financial reporting is in compliance with UF Federal and State terms conditions and regulations.Develop and maintain systems for program expenditure monitoring and tracking.Conduct site visits to assess program implementationProvide technical assistance to grantees on programmatic reportingReporting and Evaluation Work with the UF CAN Director to ensure concurrence between financial and technical reporting.Work with appropriate University of Florida centralized offices to ensure that financial management and reporting is in compliance with Federal State and UFs requirements.Contribute quarterly biannual and annual financial reports and non-scheduled reports requested by oversight bodies for submission by the appropriate office.Support the Coordinating Center in compiling statewide performance dataRecommend improvements to program design and implementation and respond to audits and financial questions.Stakeholder Engagement Orient subawardees and staff to program policies and procedures through development and delivery of subawardee onboarding sessions.Liaise with regional hubs CARD centers school districts and nonprofit organizationsFacilitate collaboration between grantees and state/local agenciesRepresent the UF Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (UF CAN) grant program at public meetings and conferences.Required Qualifications:A bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred:At least five years of financial or grant management within educational institutions or health systems is strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience in allocating grant funds to subawardees and key stakeholders is strongly preferred.Experience in financial management of projects funded by external donors or state agencies is considered an asset.Demonstrated experience and skills in developing and managing large and complex budgets.Strong analytical oral and written communication & interpersonal skills.Experience with UF systems and fund accounting.Knowledge of and experience with university and state regulations regarding fiscal and budget matters and grants administration.Expected Salary:$75000-$80000; commensurate with education and experience.Benefits and Compensation As one of the nations top public research university the University of Florida is dedicated to providing robust benefits options to support the wellbeing their employees.
