Job Description

Coordinate the management of multiple related projects directed toward a common business objective. Partner with business leaders to envision, define, and initiate programs. Provide direction and guidance to project managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program.Partner with business leaders in envisioning and strategic planning efforts for company programsDevelop program road map/implementation planEstablish and manage the governance structure for the programManage program communications with key stakeholders, project sponsors, project managers, and the program teamPerform program risk management and manage escalation of program issuesCoordinate and monitor the scheduling, financial, and technical performance of company programsPerform master resource planning for the program roadmap, ensuring maximum efficiency in resource allocation across projectsFacilitate the development of a cost-benefit analysis and return on investment for each projectDevelop budget, financial projections, and forecasted ROI for the programAid in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, and coordinate preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contractsEnsure adherence to master plans and schedules, facilitate solutions to program problems, and direct the work of project team members assigned to the program from various departmentsWork with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and that the projects deliver the intended business results and valueAct as an advisor to the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operationsBuild an effective matrixed team and inspire a shared vision for the programClearly communicate roles and expectations to project managersProvide coaching to matrixed project managers; give input to manager on project managers' performanceCreate and deliver information at an appropriate level for audience, including presentations and status updatesGain needed support from key stakeholders to lead and manage changes to successfully execute the programJob SpecificationsTypically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 6 years of experience in project management/program management, leading large and complex projectsMinimum 6 years of experience with various project management methodologies, standard concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and/or software packagesRely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsProven ability to navigate complex situations through the organizational landscape and with multiple stakeholdersStrong leadership skills to coordinate and motivate project teamsAdept at financial management to administer budgets across multiple projects and ensure the program meets its requirements for return on investment, timing, and budgetAbility to drive results through informal authority, serve as a consultant to key business partners, and represent users and customers in every thought and interactionProven ability to successfully manage risks/issues at a program levelAbility to elicit cooperation from Senior Management and other departmentsDemonstrated ability to be a decision-maker, showing balanced consideration of business issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical skillsStrong business aptitude and problem-solving skillsStrategic skills to support envisioning work, program planning, and forecastingWilling to travel as required (estimate 10%)Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties#LI-VISIONCARECompensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
