Advanced Energy has devoted four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver Colorado.POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager ensures on-time delivery of products to finished goods as scheduled by Advanced Energys committed shipment date improves Advanced Energys ability to meet customer delivery requirements by understanding Plasma Power capacity identifying constraints risks and actively reducing lead times (availability) and minimizes Advanced Energys investment in raw and finished material inventory where appropriate.RESPONSIBILITIES:Leads a cross-functional project team through all phases of New Product Development (NPD) of Plasma PowerSupports marketing and design engineering in preparing RFQ (Request for Quote) or program development proposalsPlans and manages NPD Schedules and resource plans to deliver products ON TIME and within budgetManages projects according to Product Development Process (PDP) and ensures that any scope changes or changes to the financial targets are raised with recommendations for the appropriate actionIs accountable for project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): schedule product and project cost targets quality compliance and customer SatisfactionProvides overall direction and ownership to programs including Risk Mitigation Plans escalations and issue resolutionActs as a primary point of contact working with customer project and design representativesWorks with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure material and factory build readinessCoordinates with design and manufacturing engineering to ensure DFM manufacturing cycle-time and quality targets are metEnsures a smooth mass production product launchPrepares reports and updates for presentation to customers senior management and internal stakeholdersIs responsible for documenting all aspects of the project development and ensuring that data is captured and used as lessons learned to drive continuous improvement WORK ENVIRONMENT:Works in a standard office environment;some travel may be necessary Location: Fort Collins on siteQUALIFICATIONS:Essential:Strong analytical and problem-solving toolsGood interpersonal skills. Capable of team building (external & internal) to drive cross-functional collaborationAbility and desire to meet project tasks and/or assignment deadlinesAssertive Analytical with strong communication presentation and organizational skillsCan work under minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenBoth in English and Japanese REQUIREDDesirable:Experience with PCBA design and/or manufacturingFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum processesProject Management Professional CertificationEXPERIENCE: Experience as Program Manager or with a proven track-record of project managementEDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceCOMPENSATION: As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work ActAdvanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience and specific office the hires in the state of Coloradoonly the range of starting pay for this role is $115000 to $135000 per year.
