The designated trauma center for Montgomery County Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has earned ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence.What you will do:In collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership assumes responsibility for coordinating aspects of the ANCC Magnet application designation and re-designation process. Serves as the Magnet advisor to the leadership team and liaison to the ANCC Magnet office. Promotes nursing excellence recognition empowerment through shared governance and professional development of nurses. Assess current organizational status in relationship to desired outcome; identify action plan required for compliance with ANCC Magnet designation criteria; provide program leadership and management; act as a champion for Magnet designation.
