The designated trauma center for Montgomery County Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has earned ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence.What you will do:In collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership assumes responsibility for coordinating aspects of the ANCC Magnet application designation and re-designation process. Serves as the Magnet advisor to the leadership team and liaison to the ANCC Magnet office. Promotes nursing excellence recognition empowerment through shared governance and professional development of nurses. Assess current organizational status in relationship to desired outcome; identify action plan required for compliance with ANCC Magnet designation criteria; provide program leadership and management; act as a champion for Magnet designation. Develop a timeline for data submission and ensure that other members of the organization comply with timelines and data submission requirements; meet all deadlines as required by initial/recertification all documentation required for submission of initial and recertification for magnet recognition; assure maintenance of project plans/records to serve as initial and ongoing archive of process.What awaits you:Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to help you balance work with life so you can focus on what matters most-your well-being and that of your loved ones.
