Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking an experienced Program Scheduler to support our Wide Field of View - Tranche 2 program within the Aerospace Systems Business Area.This exciting role provides direct scheduling contribution in support of critical satellite capability to our Space & Missile Defense customer. This position will reside at Solutions Building Huntsville Alabama where you will be working with various Engineering & Integrated Product Teams programmatic professionals and key program stakeholders; to improve program planning and scheduling while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policy and procedures.The Program Scheduler position will be an integral part of the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE). The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team-leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling planning EVMS the associated infrastructure and tools implementations training and surveillance for Leidos.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for applying scheduling theory/practice to develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related artifacts in compliance with applicable standards and policies such as EVM standard EIA-748 and industry best practices (e.g. PASEG NDIA) in alignment with the mission of the EVM COE and in support of programs.Responsible for implementing practices to align the time phasing and plans for resources with the IMS to provide an integrated technical schedule and resource / cost baseline and forecast/ ETC for programs.Ability to create what-if/impact scenarios within the schedule that inform program leadership and enrich programmatic decisions.Serves as a scheduling team member in assisting stakeholders with issue identification & resolution solutionsImplement program scheduling business rhythms & best practices.Develop scheduling artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements.Monitor analyze and report performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.Provides scheduling support to EVM COE and programs for internal and external audits reviews and application of resulting corrective actions.Basic Qualifications:BA degree and 4-6 years of prior relevant industry experienceMust have Intermediate to advanced expertise using Microsoft Project scheduling softwareMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.Must possess an understanding of advanced scheduling theory including experience with:schedule status processesschedule health assessment (e.g. 14-Point Analysis)resource loading/managementcost and schedule integrationbaseline change control processesschedule execution metrics (BEI CEI CPLI SV SPI etc.)Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)/Monte Carlo Analysis and toolsCritical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float managementSchedule status processesSchedule health assessment (e.g. 14-Point Analysis)Resource loading/managementBaseline change control processesschedule execution metrics (BEI CEI CPLI SV SPI etc.)Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)/Monte Carlo Analysis and toolsCritical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float managementPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Aerospace/Defense Industry as prime contractor and/or major subcontractorIntermediate to advanced expertise using Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft ProjectUtilization of MS Project MacrosWere not looking for perfectly polished resumes or perfect fits.
