Program Specialist at Brevard Public Schools

SUMMARY/SCOPE/GOALProvide oversight direction and implementation of assigned programs for support services providequality professional development and ensure program compliance with federal and state regulations topromote a safe and supporting school environment for student success.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution. Minimum of three (3) years classroom teaching and/or Student Services related fields such as SchoolPsychology School Counseling or School Social Worker experience. Knowledge of technology and computer applications as related to traditional integration in classroomsand teacher/administrator professional development. Effective skills in oral and written communications with a wide range of audiences. Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with District personnel and the public. Skill in organization time management and the ability to plan organize and prioritize.PREFERRED/DESIRED: Masters Degree preferred. Experience managing and implementing large projects.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:REQUIRED: A Florida Educator Certificate or certification in the appropriate field.
