DescriptionAre you interested in working in a supervisory role Do you enjoy working with individuals with specials needs Do you have a passion for mentoring and developing a great team of staffIf you answered YES then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team!Being a Program Supervisor with our adolescent IDD/autism Residential Program at Devereux has its Advantages!You will be offered:Shift schedule 2pm-10pm- rotating weekendsRate of $22.50 hr to $25.65 hr (dependent upon experience)ASCEND- Career Accelerator Program to help pay for your continuing educationBENEFIT ELIGIBILITY AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT (1st day of the 1st pay period after 30 days)Room for advancementEvery day as a Program Supervisor you will....Ensure the safety and well being of individuals in our care.Provide supervision to direct care staff and monitoring the daily operation of assigned programand ensuring they comply with all regulatory guidelines and professional standards.Provides crisis prevention and intervention services to the program.Ensure the practice of following all guidelines set forth by Devereux and its licensing authorities.Participates in the orientation of new employees to unit delegates assignments and empowers others to take ownership of their work.Devereux Pennsylvania Childrens Services (DPACS) center serves children adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders intellectual and developmental disabilities behavioral emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF) acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP) assessment services community-based mental health services community-based employment training and social skills training and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities autism spectrum disorders concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS) a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors and prevents negative behaviors to create safe supportive living environments. Each year more than 1000 children and adolescents receive specialized care in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face all with the goal of providing each child with the academic social emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.#sponsoredQualificationsEDUCATION: Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology sociology social work education pastoral counseling political science heath recreation criminal justice counseling; and a minimum of two years direct care experience; OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above) and three years direct care experience.EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
