Position SummaryThe University at Buffalo Department of Pediatrics Division of Behavioral Medicine is looking for a computer Programmer to provide IT programming support and tools for scientific research purposes. Ideal candidates must be self-motivated detail-oriented individuals with a creative and analytical mindset and are comfortable working in a Windows development environment. You will work with the IT Project Coordinator and external collaborators in the planning design development and maintenance of various software products i.e. web desktop and utilities. Essential responsibilities include working with: HTML5 / JavaScript / CSS / PHP / Java / MVC5 and frameworks Windows Web Server Configuration MySQL Database Server Configuration Git management Knowledge of web analytics tools and related analyses Server management Strong documentation skills oral and written communication skills good analytical ability and an understanding of business operations and processes is required.
