Each day includes monitoring purchase orders to ensure funding availability coordinating with clients to secure new or updated POs and troubleshooting billing issues across hundreds of active projects. The role requires maintaining accurate project and PO data preparing and submitting invoices through multiple customer systems and partnering with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Strong organization attention to detail and comfort navigating complex billing portals are essential to staying ahead of deadlines and keeping collections efforts moving smoothly.As a key member of the Denver team this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:Analyst DutiesManage customer billing through the I2X API tool ensuring accurate and timely invoice submissions across multiple client portals.Coordinate with clients to obtain purchase orders (POs) confirm funding availability and resolve any PO discrepancies.Monitor hundreds of active projects and POs maintaining organized up-to-date records to ensure all work is billable.Track invoice status troubleshoot rejections and follow up with clients to clear billing issues promptly.Partner with internal teams (Project Management Operations Finance) to gather required billing details and ensure compliance with client-specific requirements.Identify process gaps streamline billing workflows and support continuous improvement of the portal submission process.Provide regular reporting on billing status outstanding issues and revenue-at-risk items.Utilize client/3rd Party hosted purchasing platforms (i.e. Coupa Arriba Open Invoice Smart GEP)General DutiesExercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations including attendance at all required safety training programs.Participate in companys continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training reviewing professional publications and attending professional workshops.Other duties as assignedYOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.3 years of experience in project billing accounts receivable or project coordination preferably in an environmental lab engineering consulting or other technical services industry.Hands-on experience with client billing portals (e.g. GEP Ariba Coupa I2X or similar systems).Strong understanding of purchase orders (POs) including issuing requests tracking funding and resolving discrepancies.High attention to detail with the ability to manage hundreds of POs/projects simultaneously without errors.Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP filters pivot tables); comfortable working with large data sets.Strong communication skillsable to work directly with clients project managers and internal finance teams to resolve billing issues.Process-oriented mindset with the ability to create improve and document workflows.Preferred Qualifications/SkillsAble to deliver and receive electronic documentsAbility to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/managementStrong problem solving and analytical skillsSolid organization and time management skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills.Able to work independently managing multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter self-motivated)English language competencyThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
