OverviewElement has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Plano. Acting as the liaison between the client and the business this fantastic opportunity will be responsible for the co-ordination and scheduling of external customer test requirements from order acceptance through to test completion.Element Plano provides EMI/EMC Dynamics & Environmental Test Services for the defense aerospace telecommunications (NEBS) commercial electronics wireless medical and automotive industries.If youre interested in a rewarding and exciting career in the TIC (Testing Inspection and Certification) industry I encourage you to apply!ResponsibilitiesCustomer test schedulesManaging expectations prior to and during testingProject progress updatesProject delays and failures including any additional costsReporting delivery datesPostponements/cancellations highlighted to Commercial ManagerResponsible for owning and delivering monthly revenue targets and weekly forecastingEnsure department managers are completing contract reviews in a timely mannerEnsure sales order acknowledgements are issued in a timely manner and customers are aware of their input requirementsInvoicing accurately and in a timely mannerProviding support to Sales team to meet customer test dates at enquiry and or quotation stageEfficient response times to Sales and customersLiaise with Commercial and Department Managers to ensure that relevant facilities and staff are utilized operations are aware of their commitments and revenue generation is optimizedEnsure that agreed metrics are achieved: revenue versus budget forecasts On Time Delivery Metrics and First Time Right MetricsSkills / QualificationsExperience working within a technical environmentAbility to coordinate customer requirementsExposure to the materials testing environment and working with test results and quotations is significantly advantageousExperience managing the needs of various stakeholders including the customer operations technical teams and salesAbility to plan organize and manage workload effectively within the defined area of responsibilityAbility to review performance identify problems and contribute to solutionEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply logical reasoning and analytical thinking#LI-TF1Diversity StatementAt Element we always take pride in putting our people first.
