This role oversees the delivery of construction management, construction inspection, and program management services to transportation agencies throughout the state, including highway and railroad clients.With more than 138 years of experience, H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm. With over 600 employees across 30 offices nationwide, H&H successfully delivers projects of all sizes, types, and delivery methods across the country and abroad.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage the Construction Management operation within VirginiaLead all aspects of operations, including business development, client relationships, sales, financial performance, project delivery, and resource managementCollaborate with the Company President to develop and implement regional growth strategiesStrengthen and maintain relationships with key transportation agencies, including VDOT, MTA, WMATA, and AmtrakProvide leadership and mentorship to construction management and inspection staff, promoting technical excellence and a culture of collaborationEnsure quality control and adherence to H&H’s standards, procedures, and client requirementsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities that align with company goals and market trendsOversee staffing, workload forecasting, and financial tracking to support operational efficiency and sustainable growthRequirementsLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in VirginiaMinimum of 20 years of professional experience in the transportation industry, including at least 10 years in construction management and inspectionProven success in business development, client management, staff leadership, and operational managementStrong relationships with key transportation agencies, including VDOT, MTA, WMATA, and AmtrakExperience leading a Construction Management/Inspection (CM/CI) or Program/Construction Management (PM/CM) operation preferredExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsBenefitsWe offer a professional work environment, competitive salary, benefits package, and 401(k).EOE M/F/ DISABILITY/VETS
