Project Document Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Project Document Specialist to join their team. As a Project Document Specialist, you will be part of the document control support team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of product lifecycle documentation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Document Specialist

Location: Hercules, CA

Pay Range: $35 to $43

Shift: 6am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Provide document control support for product lifecycle documentation, ensuring completeness, proper categorization, and approval in compliance with data integrity principles.
  • Work closely with project teams to receive, assess, and process documents through the Veeva QualityDocs workflow.
  • Improve project time management by efficiently processing documents and coordinating review and approval stages.
  • Review documents for formatting, spelling, content accuracy, and metadata, collaborating with stakeholders to correct issues.
  • Maintain an organized Design History File, reducing compliance gaps and ensuring documentation is up-to-date.

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree or higher in a technical discipline.
  • 1-2 years of verifiable experience in a document control or related function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with enterprise Document Management Systems such as Veeva QualityDocs and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading skills, and a strong understanding of data integrity principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple requests, and communicate effectively.
