Job Title: Construction Project EngineerLocation: Boulder CO. Compli is full services Commissioning Qualification Regulatory Compliance and On Demand services firm.Summary:Compli is seeking a Construction Project Engineer with project experience in most or multiple aspects of the Life Sciences construction industry including but not limited to. This individual will be responsible for all financial reporting on a project as well as tracking and projecting of all labor material job expenses and changes. The successful candidate will also oversee monthly financial projections creation of job specific schedule of values which maintains positive cash flow and will create submit and manage all submittals throughout the entire project. This position requires the successful candidate to possess strong organizational negotiation financial and communication skills.What Youll Do:Function as an owners representative and report to the clients management leadCoordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope.Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsMeet with clients and clarify specific requirements of each capital projectTrack project performance specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysisDevelop spreadsheets diagrams and process flow maps to document project requirementsPerform other related duties as assignedWhat Youll Bring:Bachelors degree in engineering field: preferably mechanical or construction engineering.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Engineering roleAble to handle multiple projects where the total projects values exceed $100MM.Ability to converse about biologics and pharmaceutical manufacturing topicsAbility to work independently or in collaboration with othersIn-depth understanding and application of project management principles concepts practices and standardsProficient in current Good Manufacturing Practices and other applicable FDA USDA and EU regulationsExcellent client-facing relationship-building skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsProficient in MS Excel MS Word MS Project MS PowerPoint MS Access and AutoCAD Lite.Physical Requirements:Working at a variety of heightsClimbing stairs and laddersBendingStoopingWorking outdoors in a broad range of climate conditionsWorking around construction machineryAdditional Information:Collaborating with a large team requiring online meetingsLong hours (minimum 45 hours) during construction and commissioning is expected with possible weekend work at timesExpected to identify gaps and personally solve them without depending on staffTravel: Working on site in Boulder CO.Salary: $60k-$90k based on experience level.Its More Than Just A JobAt GBA we are not your average engineering firm.
