RESPEC a nationally recognized engineering consulting company seeks a project engineer project geologist or environmental scientist in our Cheyenne Wyoming location. The primary responsibility of this individual will be to provide a combination of engineering support services as well as construction inspection and quality assurance/quality control services specific to mine reclamation. Travel will be associated with this position.Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have the following:Bachelors or masters degree in either engineering (civil environmental mining) geology or environmental science3 to 5 years of experience in abandoned mine lands related work with at least 1 year in the construction management field Experience in ArcGIS Pro Software and other Esri products (field maps ArcGIS Online)A solid understanding of landscape and grading constructionExperience with topographic surveying and mapping techniquesAbility to provide construction oversight inspections and any related documentation and capable in the writing of construction specificationsAbility to travel and perform investigation/inspections of abandoned mine related featuresAbility to operate All Terrain-Vehicles / Utility Terrain-VehiclesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailKnowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)Excellent interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skillsMust possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travelExperience in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD 3D software applications is preferredFamiliarity of Carlson Civil Suite and Natural Regrade software is preferredAdditional Information : Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
