Project Estimator

Korkan Granite specializes in high-quality granite countertops for kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential spaces. The company serves customers across multiple Ohio counties, including Portage, Summit, Medina, Stark, and Cuyahoga. In addition to granite, Korkan Granite provides a range of premium materials such as Zodiaq, Silestone, marble, and onyx. The team focuses on craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic design, offering customized solutions to meet diverse homeowner needs.

The Project Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kent, OH. This role is responsible for reviewing project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to prepare accurate material quantities and cost estimates for countertop projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing bids, preparing detailed proposals, coordinating with sales and installation teams, and updating estimates based on design changes or field conditions. The Project Estimator will communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify project scope, timelines, and pricing, and will support budget tracking and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves maintaining records of estimates, pricing data, and vendor information to improve future quoting accuracy.

Candidates should possess skills in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation to develop accurate and timely project quotes. Candidates should possess skills in Cost Management and Budgeting to oversee project costs and support financial planning. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Experience in construction, fabrication, or residential remodeling, ideally with countertops, stone, or similar materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and proficiency with estimating or spreadsheet software. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or construction-related education is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Kent, OH and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
