Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Bastrop, TX

Compensation: Up to $120,000 Base + Bonus

Company Overview:

A leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment, including Air/Vacuum Circuit Breakers, MCCBs, Transformers, and electrical panels, is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead field service operations. This role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects while managing operations remotely. The Project Manager will oversee the deployment of field service engineers and electricians, ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, and serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Manage multiple field service projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and dispatch field service engineers and electricians to job sites according to project needs and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Cost Management: Monitor budgets and manage expenses to maintain project profitability.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as an escalation point for on-site challenges, offering technical or logistical guidance to field teams.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, particularly in field services, switchgear installation, or other technical projects within the electrical industry.
  • General understanding of electrical equipment, including switchgear (Air/Vacuum Circuit Breakers), transformers, and electrical panels.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external contractors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification.
  • Experience with quality management and reporting.
  • Background in electrical equipment manufacturing or construction industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams (e.g., schematics, single-line diagrams).
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Korean is a plus.
  • Experience operating electrical test equipment or holding a NETA certification.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Maintenance Programs as outlined in NFPA 70B.
