JOB DESCRIPTION

Project Manager

This position supports Entergy Texas distribution reliability team by managing all reliability project aspects including coordinating schedules, managing budget and ensuring efficiency in all steps.

Job duties/responsibilities include establishing project schedules, tracking and controlling project costs and schedules to meet budgets and critical milestones, preparing and conducting management review meetings at critical milestones, maintaining current information on project status in all relevant division and accounting databases, resolving project conflicts that affect cost, schedule, or customer satisfaction, ensuring that the project team utilizes the Capital Projects Process in the development and implementation of capital projects, managing a portfolio of reliability projects, communicating resource status to functional managers and jointly developing contingency plans, ensuring timely closeout of projects, including all required documentation, and providing feedback to functional management on team members' individual performance.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or equivalent (4 year degree required) and 5+ years of experience in customer service, engineering or operations. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
