Project Manager at EXP

DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for implementing assigned projects in alignment with the Schools Board of Broward County (SBBC) requirements ensuring delivery within approved scope schedule and budget. This role provides technical oversight manages design consultants and contractors and ensures compliance with SBBC standards and policies.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement assigned projects to meet SBBC needs within approved scope schedule and budget.Manage and oversee technical activities performed by design consultants CPM and construction contractors.Direct day-to-day technical activities of design consultants per contract scope of work.Monitor progress and ensure compliance with SBBC policies design criteria and construction standards.Provide technical management and resolve issues related to engineering drawings specifications cost estimates and other deliverables.Serve as primary technical interface and report to Senior Project Manager/Team Leader on scope progress schedule and capital cost.Oversee design consultant and CPM for technical management regarding construction oversight approvals design changes and SBBC staff coordination.QualificationsStrong organizational multitasking and communication skills.Excellent written communication and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.RequirementsDiploma or degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.510 years of experience in vertical construction management or quality control.Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and industry regulations.Experience with field testing procedures and quality assurance techniques.Familiarity with e-Builder construction management software and reporting tools.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Project Management Methodology,Project / Program Management,Construction Estimating,Construction Experience,PMBOK,Visio,Construction Management,Project Management,Project Management Software,Microsoft Project,Project Management Lifecycle,Contracts Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
