Job Description
Position: Project Manager - Fin Line & Die Assembly Hourly Grade: 7Purpose:The Fin Line & Die Assembly project manager is responsible for the tracking and reporting of jobs going through both the Fin Die room and the Fin Line area.This includes both the tracking of parts related to the projects and the projects themselves.The Fin Line and Die Project Manager reports to the Fin Line and Die Supervisor.Responsibilities: Quantifiable metrics to which a person is held accountableUpdate value stream notes weekly.Track parts in the ERP system and communicate priorities with machining teams.Communicate with Sales Project Manager on project updates.Be present for buyoffs with internal and external customers.Update work instructions as needed.Coordinate with FDL supervisor to communicate projects schedules for assembly floor employees.Close out time and make time corrections in ERP when the supervisor is not available.Roles: Expected behaviors and activities performed to fulfill responsibilitiesPractice and encourage the best safety practices resulting in zero lost time within department.Implement and practice effective 5S and participate in regular team 5S audits.Set an example of working hard and doing the right things exhibit energy and positivity.Arrive at work and position on time; remain present and engaged the entire assigned shift.Successfully complete semi-routine procedures and processesEngage in clear courteous effective honest and open communications with team members and others within and outside the department.Develop and seek positive relationships; actively participate in regular huddles and goal setting.Essential qualifications and skillsProficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft applications.Ability to navigate new software effectively and efficiently.Excellent communication skills.Ability to remain calm and determined to meet goals.Documentation of a current drug screen must be provided prior to start date.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Electrical Design,Installation Maintenance Repair,Large Account Management,Learning Development,Corporate Development Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Operations Experience: years Vacancy: 1
