Project Manager for Product Management Operations at Xylem

This role will work in step cross-functionally with Product Management teams to ensure smooth implementation ofproduct processes tools and data management practices.The ideal candidate will strive in a fast-paced environment have very strong organizational skills a collaborative mindset and a passion forcontinuous improvement. The Product Operations Team supports streamlining internal processes systems and data to enable efficientproduct development and delivery from an inward-facing perspective.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Product Management Strategy ExecutionAssist in implementing product operations strategies including process improvements tool adoption and data governance.Execute Product Line Simplification (PLS) ActivitiesManage day-to-day execution of PLS projects. Ensure alignment with business goals and strategy targets.Pricing and Cost InitiativesExecute annual/as needed pricing activities.System and Tool ManagementCoordinate IT request prioritization for systems such as Systemwize EspRep Solver and LN. Heavily support system rollouts and integrations including Solver SAP & PIM.E&O Initiatives Implement directional changes from Product Management including end of life process fire sales return to vendor opportunities.AI and Process InnovationChampion the use of AI tools and technologies to enhance product management workflows and decision-making.Engineering Change Request (ECR) ProcessCreate track and execute in the rollout and maintenance of ECR processes to improve accountability and operational rigor.Wholesaler Data OversightManage & complete wholesaler data requests and offerings ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to channel needs.Cross-Functional CollaborationFacilitate communication between product management engineering marketing and sales to ensure alignment and execution of product initiatives.Special ProjectsLead or support special projects involving product management operations such as PIM InSkill and SAP-related initiatives.QualificationsBachelors degree in Business Operations Engineering or related field.5 years of experience in product management operations or related discipline.Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in tools such as LN ESPRep Systemwize Global Vault Business Objects and data analysis platforms.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Deep understanding with product lifecycle management and operational workflows.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a high-paced operationally complex setting and meet deadlines. 10% TravelPreferred SkillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously across business unit sites.Experience with product management tools and methodologies.Knowledge of AI applications in business operations.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to create documentation and train others on process improvements.The salary range for this position is $90000 to $120000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location and is not typically at the top of the range.
