The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Grand Rapids seeking Project Managers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed project plans for manufacturing initiatives (e.g. new product introductions process improvements facility upgrades). Coordinate cross-functional teams including production engineering quality and supply chain personnel. Monitor project progress manage risks and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage project budgets resource allocation (materials equipment labor) and procurement activities. Ensure all project deliverables adhere to quality standards safety regulations and manufacturing specifications. Facilitate clear communication and reporting to all stakeholders on project status milestones and issues. Recommended Qualifications PMP or equivalent certification or extensive experience with formal project management methodologies Deep understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and supply chain logistics Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for project tracking and resource management Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving new product introduction (NPI) process improvement or capital equipment installation Strong track record of managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment including engineering production and quality Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100). Proficiency in CAD or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
