Position: Project Manager III Location: New York NY 10041 Duration: 6 Months Job type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Hybrid Job Description: The Team: The implementation consulting project management team is a clients team working with product solutions and engineering teams to successfully deliver client implementations for the clients Securities Processing & Corporate Actions solutions. The clients Securities Processing & Corporate Actions solutions is the world s most trusted post-trade software provider. As an international team of industry experts we architect and deliver intelligent post-trade software applications to the capital markets globally. We have a proven history of transforming business models for the world s premier financial institutions enabling them to enter new markets reduce risk increase profitability and improve service standards. Responsibilities & Impact: This role involves managing large product implementations that involve high degree of product development effort and customization. Driving clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope dates and budget. Project management leadership dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders/partners. Ability to engage competently with client at all levels of the organisation. P&L responsibility for the project. Contribute as required to process improvements pre-sales and team development initiatives within the team. Basic Qualification required: Bachelor s degree & 5 years of experience in program/project management delivering software products or services product development in financial services domain OR equivalent experience 3 years of working in a similar Product & solutions company with exposure to post trade automation business domain OR similar experience. Proven track record of successfully delivering highly complex IT transformation projects within the financial services industry. Good written presentation and verbal communications skills that can applied across organizational levels Good business knowledge in post trade automation space Excellent client facing skills. A good communicator with strong relationship building skills. Training or understanding of standard project management methodologies e.g. PMI. Additional Preferred Qualifications Excellent influencer with proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization. 10 years of experience in program/project management experience in financial services/ solutions vendor organizations OR equivalent experience. Certification in Project/program management (PMP OR equivalent) Flexible and adaptable to project needs and changing priorities. Strong inter-personal skills with practical can-do approach.
