Today, the School is renowned for its academic programs, its research and its commitment to clinical and community service within state, national and global communities.Position Summary:THIS IS A TIME-LIMITED POSITION WITH AN ESTIMATED DURATION OF 2 YEARS.We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Manager to support our research administration activities. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams and institutions. The Project Manager will assist with the day-to-day operations of multiple cancer prevention and control projects including the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN), Scaling What Works (SWW), and the Cancer Consortium for Implementation Science (CCIS). The Project Manager will provide communications, administrative, and research support.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:We are seeking a professional who is independent, self-motivated, and collaborative, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Required:* Project management experience in research, public health, or related settings.* Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and manage multiple concurrent deliverables.* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner).* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Experience coordinating meetings, webinars, and conferences (virtual and in-person).* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and collaborative platforms such as Teams.* Knowledge of research methods, data management, and reporting processes.* Ability to work effectively across teams and with community partners.* Experience developing and managing communications plans (e.g., newsletters, websites, or social media content).Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:* Background in cancer prevention and control or implementation science.* Experience with grant reporting, manuscript preparation, and technical writing.* Familiarity with community-engaged research and multi-site coordination.* Experience developing and managing communications plans (e.g., newsletters, websites, or social media content).Campus Security Authority Responsibilities:Not Applicable.
