Project Manager ConstructionA Southern California General Contractor specializing in K14 educational facilities fire stations essential services civic buildings parks and recreation faith-based structures office developments and healthcare facilities is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful public and community-focused projects while contributing to a collaborative systems-driven construction environment.Must HavesCommercial and/or public works experience managing multiple projects or complex large-scale construction projectsStrong understanding of modern construction methods materials codes and regulationsAbility to lead teams coordinate diverse groups and manage competing priorities under pressureExcellent communication organizational and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction scheduling software (e.g. MS Project or equivalent)Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and a proactive solutions-focused mindsetExperience overseeing budgets cost control and project financialsValid drivers license and acceptable driving recordExperience managing subcontractors design partners owners and field personnelNice to HavesBachelors degree in construction management construction science engineering or related fieldExperience with K14 educational projects or other public-sector capital programsFamiliarity with School District bond programs and agency requirementsProcore or similar construction management software experienceExperience in healthcare or higher education construction marketsPrior work on projects involving multiple stakeholders or multi-phase deliveryCPM scheduling expertiseExperience preparing estimates cost proposals or change ordersResponsibilitiesManage client expectations and maintain strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycleProvide day-to-day project leadership direction and supervision to staff and subcontractorsOversee complete project documentation including submittals RFIs logs and contract documentationPrepare and manage cost proposals change orders and budget updatesDevelop track and maintain project budgets cost control processes and buyout activitiesLead project accounting tasks including owner billings and review/approval of subcontractor pay applicationsManage project schedules and ensure milestones are met through CPM or equivalent scheduling toolsDirect subcontractor coordination procurement equipment/material acquisition and workflow sequencingMonitor project progress identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with quality and safety standardsCollaborate closely with architects engineers inspectors owners and internal teams to drive project successProvide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders regarding schedule budget and performanceEnsure all project work aligns with contractual obligations and organizational standards Key Skills Campaigns,IT Audit,Customer Support,ABB,Cement,Dns Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
