Job Details
The Project Manager leads design build sheet metal projects from planning through completion. This role supervises a team of 10-15 employees, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of 10-15 sheet metal professionals, keeping staff on task and accountable
Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, goals, and safety protocols
Coordinate design development, drawings, and renderings prior to fabrication
Manage project schedules, manpower planning, and material flow
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and project specifications
Maintain clear communication between customers, design teams, and field crews
Address customer feedback and design changes quickly and accurately
Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with all company policies
Prevent conflicts by coordinating all trades and project stakeholders
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to maintain high performance
Qualifications
Experience managing Mechanical, commercial sheet metal or HVAC projects
Proven leadership skills supervising a team of 10-15 employees
Strong knowledge of design build construction processes
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to workplace safety and enforcing safety standards
