Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-end office and commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects in Los Angeles. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in fast-paced commercial interiors, with a strong ability to coordinate teams, manage consultants and subcontractors, and proactively solve problems in the field and office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage high-end office and commercial TI projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and change management.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and scope coordination.
• Develop and maintain master schedules and look-ahead schedules to ensure milestone adherence.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate closely with superintendents, clients, architects, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure projects meet design intent, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office to track progress and maintain documentation.
• Drive clear communication, accountability, and professionalism across all project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
• 5+ years of Project Manager experience in high-end office TI or commercial interiors.
• Proven success managing Class A office renovations, corporate campuses, creative office, or commercial TI projects.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and change management.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of LA commercial construction practices and permitting processes.
Preferred Experience:
? Experience managing fast-paced, high-end office TI projects with premium finishes and complex architectural details.
? Strong relationships with Los Angeles-area subcontractors and vendors.
? Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining calm, organized project leadership.
