Project Managers are responsible for leading gas utility projects working with a cross functional project team to plan design construct and close out projects. Project Managers provide organizational financial and scheduling services attend site visits and coordinate with client. This work is vital for ensuring the safety and reliability of the gas pipeline system responsible for providing heat to families and businesses in our clients service territories.Consideration for the Project Manager opportunity requires the following:Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or related technical fieldMinimum of 6 years of related experienceMinimum 3 years project related experience and knowledge ofapplicable federal state and local laws and regulationsTechnical communicationProficient use of MS Outlook Word Excel Project and PowerPointUtility Construction or Telecommunications Project Management experience preferredValid Drivers licenseAs a Project Manager you will be expected to:Place safety as the highest priorityAttend project meetings to provide critical path updatesLead and facilitate meetings in a professional mannerCommunicate and coordinate with project teams to complete projects by client deadlinesCreate monitor and update project schedulesCreate and update financial forecastsMonitor and control budgetsReview and approve invoicesProvide project status reports to clientsProject management of internal resources and subcontractorsTravel to project sites as neededMove Forward with KleinfelderKleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
