AECOM is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager the Renewable Team within the US Energy Practice. AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.Our team provides a wide range of services across markets sectors including transmission (substations overhead and underground transmission systems generator interconnections interconnection strategy) renewable generation (Solar PV Battery Energy Storage Systems Wind) power distribution (overhead and underground power systems EV charging networks microgrid design etc.) and next generation energy (hydrogen fuel cells electrolyzers etc.). We seek a project professional able to manage the design process from the project basis of design stage through the issuance of construction drawings ensuring seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders.This position requires a strong understanding of engineering design interconnection electrical equipment and construction processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to lead matrixed design teams and manage client-approved engineering consultants.The successful candidate will:Use their strong working knowledge of the renewables market and utilities to manage the full life cycle of projectsBe responsible for design permitting construction community engagement and establishing/achieving critical project milestonesUtilize your strong interpersonal organizational and creative problem-solving skills to collaborate and lead project stake holdersWork closely with the Project Team to confirm deliverables and services are being provided to exceed clients satisfaction. This includes coordination with team members across the worldIdentify project opportunities early and facilitate go/no-go decisions determine project fees write proposals prepare and lead client presentations and negotiation of contractsSupport development and maintenance of business plan; lead and support proposal efforts to support profitable growthEnjoy building teams capturing new work and growing Client relationshipsTake ownership of internal project financials staffing legal coordination and risk managementBe results-oriented with strong interpersonal organizational problem-solving collaboration and leadership skillsEnjoy managing projects that vary in size and complexity in multiple locationsQualifications : Minimum Requirements:BS/BA 4 years of relevant renewables experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationProject Management experience directly related to renewable engineering projectsDemonstrated experience delivering complex projects and/or programs with high quality on schedule and within scope and budgetPreferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP)Professional Engineering Licensure (PE)6 Years of relevant experience including project management program management engineering of renewablesExperience in managing projects worked in collaborative model environments (e.g. NavisworksAdditional Information : Visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the futureRelocation is not available for this roleAbout AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
