About the Role & The ProjectJoin the Enterprise Information System (EIS) team, which maintains the statewide ERP system—the official book of record for all state agencies. This is a critical state project focused on retiring a major legacy system by integrating its functions into the core EIS using SAP Finance Management modules.We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Implementation Manager to lead a vital component of this statewide transition. The ideal candidate is a PMP-certified professional with deep SAP implementation and functional integration experience who can navigate a complex environment involving multiple state fiscal offices.Key Responsibilities (Daily Duties)Project Leadership: Work with the Director and Enterprise Project Manager to plan, lead, and manage all aspects of the SAP implementation project.Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships and expectations with stakeholders across the enterprise, including key state fiscal offices (e.g., Comptroller General’s Office and State Treasurer’s Office).Risk & Issue Management: Inform management of any potential risks and issues that may impact deadlines, milestones, or have a significant impact on resources or costs.Process & Documentation: Conduct project closeout in a timely manner, including documenting lessons learned and archiving essential project documentation.Coordination: Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure the successful integration of SAP modules.Best Practices: Recommend and implement project/portfolio management best practices for managing Treasury and FI (Financial) projects..Required Qualifications5+ years of SAP implementation/project management experience.PMP or other PMI Project Management related certification.Proficiency with Microsoft ProjectExperience with Process Mapping (MS Visio).Bachelor's Degree in a related field.experience with SAP Finance and Treasury Management Modules and integration experience.Direct SAP Project Management and SAP Implementation Experience.
