A Project Manager Structural will typically lead project teams comprised of Project Engineers and Design Engineers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in securing most of own project work through proposals to new and existing clients; eventually works exclusively on own workAdopt positive attitude of accountability by providing reliable constructible affordable and timely solutions (RCAT) resulting in Providence being the Engineer of ChoiceOversee a team of engineers to ensure projects are prepared on time on budget and in accordance with code and client requirementsEnsure the engineering and financial success of assigned projectsDelegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise work experience and time constraintsCommunicate and act as a liaison between internal clients external clients vendors and other project stakeholders as applicableAddress internal and external client questions and/or concerns throughout the projectConduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of riskEnsure project compliance with federal state local industry contractual and company regulations standards specifications and best practicesCommunicate and collaborate with project design teams to complete multiple concurrent projects on time to specifications and with accuracy and efficiencyWork on projects secured by others as assigned by the scheduling teamAct as lead engineer on projects of various sizeAct as lead engineer on self-performed projectsPrepare redline drawing markups and/or review markups prepared by support staff for drafting department implementationCommunicate with co-workers and ensure accuracy of the completed drawings in comparison to the intent of redline markupsMaintain a positive attitude with co-workersPrepare and implement a project budget based on contracted feesOutline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordinglyMentor engineers to promote their technical development and efficiencyPrepare and submit complete drawing and calculation submissions for internal quality control reviews in accordance with established protocols respond to quality control reviewers critical comments and incorporate appropriate revisionsConduct cost analysis and estimate expected costs for project proposalsDevelop and actively maintain electronic and hard-copy project file records in accordance with established protocolsMaintain accurate contracted fees in the company project accounting system in an organized manner and in accordance with established protocolsReview and approve client invoicing in a timely mannerAssist in the pursuit of aged accounts receivable balances in accordance with established protocolsSubmit prime and subconsultant contract agreements purchase order terms and conditions lien waivers and non-disclosure agreements to the contracts team for legal and insurance review and negotiationExhibit knowledge of legal language pitfalls in contract agreementsObtain actively or by referral new work/clientsEstablish maintain and continually improve relationships with existing clients for business developmentCommunicate and collaborate with management business development and marketing teams to provide information required to promote the company and to obtain new clients and retain existing clientsProvide co-worker performance feedbackComply with company policies and proceduresParticipate in continuing education webinars and education sessions and maintain required professional development hours for state license(s)Participate in networking and business development opportunitiesParticipate in local or national chapter of professional organization(s)Perform other related duties as assignedKnowledge Experience and SkillsBachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis or a closely related field is requiredRegistration as a professional engineer (PE/SE) preferred8-15 years of related engineering experience preferredExcellent budgeting and cost containment skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExceptional supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateThorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about project requirementsProficient with Risa 3D RAM Tedds or similar company-approved structural analysis softwareAbility to present hand-written calculations in an organized and legible mannerProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to maintain accurate project recordsRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Cobol,Atl,Civil Engineering,Field,Islamic Banking Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
