Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: EIS is currently seeking experienced Project Managers to support our client sites in the NOLA area. The ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience and have a background in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) preferred. We believe our employees our most valuable assets, and providecompetitive compensation, flexible work schedules, a robust benefits program and professional development opportunities.About the PositionDevelop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvementOversees engineering execution utilizing either on-site design staff or local Engineering companies.Develops project scopes in collaboration with operations, process engineering and discipline representativesWork closely with multiple disciplines: Operations, Planning, Execution, Process/IE/Rotating Engineering and assists the inspection department with Quality Control/Quality Assurance services for both shop and field work.Maintains budgets and schedule forecast with assistance from project controls.Assists with development of equipment and material bid specification, bid evaluation and selection.Occasional travel may be requiredOther duties as assigned.Skills and AbilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsProactive and shows initiative to anticipate client needs as requiredThorough understanding of or the ability to learn quickly about the project or product being developed.Education and Experience:BS in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical required5 to 15 years of experience working in a refinery or chemical plant and/or with a consulting firm representing similar industries.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer with field work in plant as required.Mustbe able to climb ladders and stairs when needed.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other equipment as required.
