Job Description

RESPEC a nationally recognized 100% employee-owned engineering consulting company is seeking an engineer to support design and project management services at our Dallas Texas office located in Richardson. This role will contribute to a wide range of water resources engineering projects including planning designing management and specialty services and may contribute to other civil engineering projects.We are looking for a collaborative team player who consistently produces high-quality work meets project requirements delivers on schedule and effectively manages multiple priorities.Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have the following:A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related engineering fieldA Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to obtain within six monthsA minimum of 10 years of experience designing engineering projects for public sector clients including 3 years with project management responsibilitiesSkilled in coordinating with multiple clients review agencies and design team members on an ongoing basisProficient with proposal writing budgeting and project financial managementExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdditional preferred experience includes the following:Excellent organizational skillsEstablished relationships with Texas clientsParticipation in business development activitiesManaging teams of engineers and developing early career engineersDeveloping and guiding construction plan packages and/or stormwater master planning studiesAutoCAD/Civil3D and GISPractical application of the various hydrology/hydraulics software including HEC-RAS (1D/2D preferred) HEC-HMS SWMM and HY-8Construction oversight of project installationsAdditional Information : Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
