ResponsibilitiesTheProject Safety Adviser In Ft. Meade MDsupports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented safety compliance requirements are met while enhancing the overall safety culture.Oversee all aspects of a complex electricalstructures and construction project ensuring OSHA complianceConsult with executive management on contractor safety plans and ensure implementation in place for each project.Provide review and oversight of construction Health & Safety management proceduresAttend safety department and management meetings training workshops and daily activity briefingsOversee all subcontractors and contractors ensuring competencyContinually encouraging and promoting Health & Safety initiatives aimed at influencing positive safety behavior on all projectsQualificationsRequired:Minimum of 10 years of construction safety experience with formal qualifications in construction health and safety managementMUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCEExtensive experience in contractor communications liaising with design teams and other project professionalsAdvanced experience working on data center or mission critical buildsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer skillsEmbody HazTeks Core Values of Integrity Compassion Dependability Leadership AccountabilityPreferred:Bachelors degree in a safety related fieldOwners Representative experienceNFPA 70eOverviewHazTek Safety Management is a full-service objective safety partner founded in 1997.
